Quayside

Quayside Marina - Downtown Vancouver, B.C. Built in 2001, this marina accommodates 110 boat slips. The marina has 43,000 SF of concrete floats. Every slip is connected to power, water and a waste water suction system. The main docks have width of 8ft to 13ft, with the large 100ft slip docks having 6'-6" wide fingers.

Seen here is the large Yacht After Eight (151ft long, 31ft beam), docked at Quayside Marina in Vancouver. Wide 13ft concrete walkway docks, where designed by International Marine Floatation Systems to incorporate electrical, mechanical utilities supplying every slip.

In 2001, IMFS constructed this 40 ft. x 100 ft., one piece unsinkable floating clubhouse / management office / washrooms/ mechanical room platform as a complete facility for the Quayside Marina. The building houses the mechanical room for the entire marina, along with a men's and women's washrooms complete with laundry facilities.

Public access Kayak Float located in the marina. You don't have to have a big boat to enjoy this marina. This floating platform for kayaks is perfect for low-level access to the marina by the general public.

Every slip at Quayside Marina is equipped with utility storage boxes which contain vacuum sewer system, water and power outlets to complete this state of the art marina.

International Marine Floatation Systems Structural system allows for 100 ft. long x 6'-6" wide concrete finger floats to be cast in one single unit, eliminating the need or cost for intermediate piles.

IMFS galvanized cleats with fully accessible bolts through a side slot are through bolted in the concrete float. This connection guarantees that the cleat will break long before you do any damage to the IMFS dock.

IMFS incorporated dock boxes on one-piece concrete fingers with integral flare to minimizes maintance.

IMFS floats can incorporate security measures to fit our client's needs, such as these security doors that can easily integrate into our floating concrete docks and platforms.
